We are excited to launch Augur at LCX Exchange. Augur is a decentralized prediction market platform built on the Ethereum blockchain.

Launch LCX ExchangeWith the launch of Augur v2, users can now migrate REP to the new REPv2 token to participate in the reporting and dispute system within Augur v2. While not immediately required, it is encouraged to do so as all REP and REPv2 would have to participate in a network-wide market fork on Augur v2 if one was to ever occur, else be forever unable to migrate to future universes and versions of Augur. Augur is an Ethereum-based decentralized prediction market that leverages the wisdom of the crowds to create a search engine for the future that runs on its token, REP. Augur allows users to create their markets for specific questions they may have and profit from the trading buys while allowing users to buy positive or negative shares regarding the outcome of a future event. Augur REP is a gambling cryptocurrency. It’s the crypto token you can use to bet on sporting events, political results, economies and just about everything else in the prediction markets. Online gambling is a $52 billion a year industry.
At its founding, the project included Intrade founder Ron Bernstein, Robin Hanson, and Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin among its advisers. In April 2015, Augur’s first smart contract was uploaded to the Ethereum network. The first beta version was released in March 2016. Finally, in October 2016, all the reputation tokens for sale during the 2015 crowdfunding campaign were distributed to their owners on the live Ethereum network.

Starting from today Friday, June 11th, 2021 at 08:00 PM CET, customers will be able to transfer $REP into their LCX account. Customers will be able to transfer this to their LCX Exchange wallet or place trading orders when the trading starts.

REP / LCX starting on Saturday, June 12th at 01:00 PM CET
REP / EUR starting on Monday, June 14th at 01:00 PM CET
How to deposit Augur (REP)?
- Navigate to LCX Accounts > Wallet
- Scroll down to $REP
- Click on the “Deposit” tab next to $REP. Your deposit address will be presented to you.
- Send $REP to this address.
