LCX is excited to announce it continues to build upon its success of the past four years by establishing LCX, Inc. in the United States. The company has attracted highly experienced key members of the executive team to accomplish what will be another exciting chapter for LCX and its community. 

LCX’s long-standing commitment and investments in its regulatory setup now pays off, such as integration of the FATF travel rule and our sophisticated LCX Crypto Compliance Suite. LCX will be developing new cutting edge products while maintaining the highest level of integrity the market has come to expect from the leading regulated crypto platform of Liechtenstein, the role model for crypto regulatory activity in Europe and the world.

LCX US Incorporated in Wyoming

LCX, Inc US was incorporated on June 23, 2021. The company has been registered in Cheyenne in the state of Wyoming. Wyoming, which like Liechtenstein has embraced the next generation of decentralized finance and is establishing regulatory innovation and legal framework in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. 

LCX Registered as Money Services Business at FinCEN 

An important initial regulatory step has been accomplished. LCX Inc. is a registered money transmitter and is authorized to conduct Money Services Business activities. Registration by Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCen) for LCX Inc. was received September 30, 2021. 

LCX Expanding to USA and Building an Experienced Operational Team

LCX, Inc. US is led by its CEO Monty Metzger and John Manella who had been appointed as North America director as of August 2021


John Manella has over 25 years of banking, finance and fund management experience. In a previous role John co-led the restructuring of a $4 billion hedge fund. For many years he has been involved in technology and computing including a spin-out from Cambridge University England, focused upon enhancing  artificial intelligence, machine learning, IOT and quantum computing. His previous positions include director for Citibank Global Asset Management, throughout the Central United States, responsible for all assets under management and structured financial products. In addition John was director at a multi-family office allocating capital to leading alternative asset managers in venture capital and private equity, since acquired by Credit Suisse. 

Mika Jiang is appointed as a compliance manager for North America as of July 2021.  Mika has over 10 years of compliance experience in the traditional finance industry. She holds a law degree from The College of Law Moorgate in London, England, and is currently pursuing a Master of Law (LLM) at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada.  

LCX, Inc. will expand both its talent pool with additional professional hires and its physical location in establishing offices in Chicago, Miami and New York in addition to its current Cheyenne Wyoming  presence.
