Add Liquidity on Uniswap

  1. One of the best parts about Uniswap is that anyone can provide liquidity for a token and act as a market maker and monetize their token holdings. Liquidity Providers will earn 0.3% of every transaction made on the LCX/ETH or LCX/USDC pair. This fee is divided between the liquidity providers proportionally to their share. For example, if you provide 20% of the liquidity, you will earn 20% of the collected fees.
  2. To add liquidity, go to the ‘Pool’ Tab on Uniswap Exchange.
  3. Click on ‘Join a Pool’.
  4. Type in, LCX, you can select any of the 2 available pools.
  5. Enter in the equivalent of ETH and LCX Token that you want to supply.
  6. Click on ‘Supply’. After the transaction is done you will be a liquidity pool owner for LCX and will be able to earn fees.

About Uniswap

Uniswap is a protocol for exchanging ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum. Uniswap is a decentralized exchange in the form of two smart contracts hosted on the Ethereum blockchain, as well as a public, open-source front-end client. It’s a 100% on-chain market maker allowing the swapping of ERC20 tokens, as well as ETH to an ERC20, and vice-versa. It eliminates trusted intermediaries and unnecessary forms of rent extraction, allowing for fast, efficient trading. Where it makes trade offs decentralization, censorship resistance, and security are prioritized. Uniswap is open-source software licensed under GPL. It enables anyone to create new markets, provide liquidity, and build financial applications that could not have existed before.
