LCX Exchange Launched (✅)

The first half of 2021 has seen us grow at an incredible rate. The Q1 of 2021 saw the launch of LCX Exchange, a secure and compliant trading platform. LCX secured eight crypto-related licenses in Liechtenstein allowing expansion of our services and offerings including a regulated crypto exchange, digital asset custody provider, price oracle provider, digital asset compliance provider, smart-contract creator, and token-offering platform. 

LCX Platform Upgrade  (✅)

We have added a couple of major features and enhanced the overall product UI/UX experience at the LCX platform.

Liechtenstein Protocol (✅)

In this quarter, the Liechtenstein Protocol Whitepaper was published. It is a proposal of this new token standard as an industry-led initiative, building upon the basic experience and knowledge of other standards but improving the core technology stack. The new token standard is blockchain agnostic and will be implemented on a variety of public chains. The blockchain agnostic standard aims to build a framework for the tokenization of securities and to foster the growth and proliferation of asset tokenization as a practice. Successfully Closing RVW Security Token Sale  (✅)

The exclusive RVW Security Token Sale for Roe V. Wade Movie was launched at LCX STO Launchpad in the last quarter of 2020, saw a breakthrough response from the community as a result the token sale was successfully closed. We facilitated the RVW Security Token Sale as the exclusive technology blockchain service provider. We also assisted with the creation of the RVW Token and managed the Audit in collaboration with Certik. 

#100DaysLCX Growth Campaign Started (✅)

The #100DaysLCX Growth Campaign was launched in the first quarter of 2021 with a focus on making rigorous upgrades to the LCX Platform and its products. We posted an announcement every day for the 100 days where we announced various new partnerships, token listing, product updates, etc.

CoinGecko lists LCX Exchange (✅)

LCX Exchange has been listed in CoinGecko, the leading digital currency price, and information data platform.

LCX Merchandise Store Launched  (✅)

We also launched an LCX Merchandise Store where our community can buy official LCX merchandise. You can visit the Merchandise store Here.

Monerium Partnership (✅)

LCX secured a partnership with monerium, the world’s first company authorized to issue regulated e-money on blockchains, and introduced deposits and withdrawals in EURO on LCX exchange.

Launch of LCX Venture Program (✅)

The Q1 also saw the launch of the LCX Venture Program and Leading Change Campaign. We introduced the LCX Venture program to invest up to $2.5M in outstanding blockchain projects and assist them with Free Token Listing and Initial Token Sale Program. Launch of Leading Change Campaign (✅)

We launched the Leading Change Campaign to honor the entrepreneurial leaders of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry for their outstanding contribution.

#100DaysLCX Growth Campaign (✅)

The second quarter of 2021 witnessed the completion of the #100DaysLCX Growth Campaign where we delivered 131 announcements and listed 60 new trading pairs. LCX Insights Live (✅)
LCX launched a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) and interview series called LCX Insights Live hosted by Monty C. M. Metzger. Season 1 of LCX Insights Live was successfully concluded with over 32 sessions hosted which included interview sessions with 25 extraordinary guests. LCX DeFi Terminal 2.0 (✅)

We have successfully launched the LCX DeFi Terminal 2.0 aka Fire Salamander, the most powerful DEX aggregator built on top of Uniswap. Fire Salamander is the next version of the LCX DeFi Terminal. Fire Salamander offers the best execution prices, lower gas fees, and increased efficiency for a more efficient trading experience. Features include DeFi Dashboard, Basic Swap, Pro Swap, Limit Orders, Interactive TradingView charts of all major DEXs, and Governance.

Partnership Developments

Hedera Hashgraph Partnership (✅)
In the second quarter, we joined hands with Hedera Hashgraph, the most used, sustainable, enterprise-grade public ledger to establish a new standard for security tokens and tokenized digital assets leveraging our proprietary Liechtenstein Protocol. The Liechtenstein Protocol offers compliance, tokenization, on-chain asset management, on-chain identity and provides organizations with the ability to build a new security token on the Hedera public ledger. Quant Network Partnership (✅)
Quant, a pioneering technology company, joined LCX as a strategic partner to enable DLT interoperability. The partnership will further accelerate the progression towards Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Quant will also integrate LCX within the Overledger Network as a key partner.  The details of our partnership can be found here.

DigiByte Partnership (✅)
DigiByte, a decentralized UTXO blockchain with significantly faster block timings, focusing on speed, security, and scalability has joined LCX as a Partner to take their decentralized immutable ledger platform to the next level. The details of our partnership can be found here.

Celo Foundation Partnership and Membership (✅)
Celo Foundation, an open blockchain platform chooses LCX as the newest Alliance Member of the Celo Foundation. LCX strongly aligns with the Celo Foundation on our mission to bridge the gap between traditional and decentralized finance with our new-age, fully compliant products and regulated services. Announcement of Tokenization Project “Tiamonds” (✅)                                                                                              A new project is being introduced by LCX at the end of Q3. The project is focused on the tokenization of assets. Tiamonds was NOT there in the original roadmap, and it is a brand new addition to the list of LCX products. The world’s first project combining asset tokenization, education, and gamification with a deflationary cryptocurrency all built on the Ethereum blockchain. Click Here to Know More.

LCX Exchange has been listed on CoinMarketCap, the leading price-tracking website for cryptocurrencies.

LCX Token listed at Changelly and Changelly Pro (✅)

LCX token is now listed at Uniswap v3. (✅)

LCX launched Digital Euro and Fiat on-off ramp (✅)
LCX launched Tokenized Euro, E-Money Tokens issued by Monerium, at LCX Exchange and LCX Ecosystem which enabled users to seamlessly move EURO  between their SEPA Bank account and your LCX account wallet.

Quantitative Market Making (QMM) ➡️ Delayed but In Development, update will follow

The launch of a new QMM mechanism is currently delayed due to other high-priority product updates, it is currently under development. QMM stands for Quantitative Market Making as a fundamental advancement of the concept of automated market-making (AMM) on decentralized exchanges. We are focused on building a smart automated quantitative market-making Vault insured solution for LCX Exchange. Users will be able to provide their funds for liquidity at LCX Exchange. In return, they’ll be provided with daily returns.

Polkadot and Parity Technology Collaboration (✅)

One of the major milestones for this quarter was Polkadot and Parity Technology Collaboration. With this collaboration, LCX aims to Advance Parachain Technology With Technical Guidance From Parity Technologies. Parity is a global team of top distributed systems engineers, cryptographers, solutions architects, and researchers building core blockchain infrastructure for the foundation of Web 3.0. LCX will establish a new standard for security tokens and tokenized digital assets on Polkadot and will expand the system for DeFi terminal 2.0 by building on top of Polkadot’s Parachain technology. LCX Vault 

LCX Vault which was earlier scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2021 has been delayed, it’s currently under development, we will keep our community updated on the progress of LCX Vault.

LCX Vault insured digital asset custody provider that’ll work as hybrid cold storage solutions. We intend to have the highest security standards for this service as we understand the significance of security in crypto. The LCX Vault will be easy to access and to manage. Based on our current regulatory approvals we are following the same compliance standards as known every other bank or financial institution in the traditional financial industry. 

Until then, you can open an account at the LCX Platform to set up and get access to your main wallet and exchange wallet.

LCX Mobile

We are all geared up to launch a new product category at LCX, called LCX Mobile. All our current products, including LCX Exchange, are already fully mobile responsive and can be used from any smartphone or tablet. 

LCX Mobile is a mobile-first and user-centric mobile application built from the ground up. We aim to deliver a unique mobile experience focusing on the demanding Gen Z and digital natives. A simple UI interface combined with a sophisticated underlying technology stack, ultimately made for the mass market. 

LCX Mobile will be available on iOS and Android.

Cybersecurity Test and Report

To ensure the utmost security of our exchange, LCX Exchange undergo a deep cybersecurity test, analysis, and penetration test in the past 6 months. The test and audit have been successfully conducted and results will be published in the coming days.

TIAMONDS

LCX has launched Tiamonds, the dawn of a new age in the tokenization of assets. Tiamonds project includes two key elements: Tokenized Diamonds called Tiamonds and a deflationary cryptocurrency called TIA Token where Tiamonds are non-fungible tokens (NFT) representing the 1-1 ownership rights of real-world Diamonds and TIA Tokens is a community-driven, fair launched DeFi Token connected to Tiamonds.

LCX Exchange “Facelift”

We have decided to implement a platform-wide refresh to improve our users’ experience when trading on the LCX exchange and we are happy to announce that the new UI update will be launched in the Q4 of 2021. LCX exchange users will be able to access an easy and modern trading platform.

LCX Terminal 2.0

LCX Terminal is a multi-exchange crypto trading platform to trade on all major crypto exchanges within a single interface. LCX Terminal was launched in June 2019. To use all benefits of LCX Terminal you need to connect to your existing account at a third-party exchange. 

The New 2.0 version of LCX Terminal is being postponed due to other high-priority updates lined up for Q4, we will keep updating our community with developments related to LCX terminal 2.0.

LCX Terminal 2.0 will upgrade the current system to an advanced prime broker platform. Users will only need their LCX account to trade across all major exchanges. The need to open individual exchange accounts and connect them at LCX Terminal will be eliminated.

Price Oracles 2.0

LCX launched LCX Cryptocurrency Reference Price Services in March 2020 and announced a partnership with Chainlink in August 2020. LCX is providing these reliable crypto reference rates as part of our registered role as Price Service Provider in accordance with the Liechtenstein blockchain laws. 

The launch of LCX Price Oracles 2.0 which was previously scheduled for Q4 2021 is currently delayed, the development of Price Oracles 2.0 is in progress, we will keep on updating our community with all the developments from time to time. LCX Price Oracles 2.0 will include updates to our core methodology, additional digital asset coverage, exchange data feeds, and other innovative features.
